The scene is part fantasy and part memory of the pre Covid days of downtown San Francisco when there were may street performers and shopping all up and down Market St.
4th and Market St was a popular spot for street performers and it was common to see a drummer with pot, pans and pails tapping out rhythms to the city hustle.

CONDOR
The Condor Club in San Francisco became world famous in the 1960's when Carol Doda became the first topless night club performer in the US.
Carol is represented here by one of my characters "Pillow" from my Pillow and Lucky Series.

Native Girl
A painting I did sometime after a trip to the Philippines around 2005, it's a large 24 x 36 canvas that I had found that seemed to have been painted before several times giving the surface a rough texture, so I opted to do the painting by using finger painting techniques and acrylic paint.
